Our Catholic faith is living and responding to new questions and challenges. Today, rapid developments in technology, medicine, and bioethics raise important questions about human dignity and what it means to live as disciples of Christ.

As Pope Francis suggests in Laudato Si', technological power has outpaced our moral growth and theological reflection. The task for Christians, then, is not simply to react, but to develop a proactive, ongoing discernment—one that engages new technologies, asks deeper questions about human dignity and the common good, and ensures that progress remains truly humanizing rather than dehumanizing.

How do we respond with faith and wisdom?

Join us for the Passionist Summer Institute 2026, where Fr. Enzo Del Brocco, CP, a Passionist from St. Paul of the Cross Province and President of Catholic Theological Union, will guide us. With his academic backgrounds in Human Resources and Healthcare Ethics and ministry assignments, he offers thoughtful reflections on key technological, environmental and bioethical issues today — their benefits and challenges — and provides a faith-filled approach for discernment.
